Los Pepes Studio is an artist duo composed by Meggie
Prata (1993, Lisbon) and Francisco Leal (1992, Lisbon). The background of the
two artists, linked to fine arts and design, brought them together in the
Master of Art and Design for Public Space, in 2015, where they met and formed
as a team. In 2017, when they finished their Master's degree that was divided
between Porto and Lódz, they decided to return to Lisbon and have their own
atelier. Since then they have been developing a geometric body of work, full of
patterns and with some anthropomorphic elements.

Synopsis:
By representing various aspects common to all human
beings, this piece represents characteristics that cut across all cultures and
nations. It is a work focused on similarity, equality, and the acceptance of
difference.
The vases and plants represent construction and
personal growth, while the patterns and geometric shapes illustrate the
infinite possibilities of paths and goals that a person has the possibility to
establish. Finally, day and
night are the passing of time.
